The Olympic Peninsula Outdoor Recreation Collaborative is a group of outdoor recreation land managers, interest groups and community members interested in a collaborative approach to outdoor recreation management on the Olympic Peninsula (OP).

We collaborate on outdoor recreation issues, help get projects done, complete outdoor recreation analyses from an Olympic Peninsula perspective and network across the OP.

Currently we have two priority projects:
  1. Supporting the Klahanie Campground site project to determine its future and help make it happen.
  2. Better understanding of outdoor recreation use on the OP. To this end we are exploring/answering two key questions for the OP:
    1. What is the state of camping on the OP and what is the expected future demand?
    2. Where and what are the Recreation Use Hotspots on the OP?
