One of the most popular forests in the USA, Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is located east of Seattle, and extends north to the Canadian border. Home to many glacier-covered peaks, including the prominent Mt. Baker towering at 10,781 feet, the Forest encompasses much of the North Cascades Ecoregion and offers old-growth forests, spectacular mountain scenery, and many historical points of interest to experienced outdoor enthusiasts and casual hikers alike.
