Product Details

Smokey Bear came to life as a national symbol in forest fire prevention posters over 50 years ago. In 1950, a badly burned cub was found clinging to a tree after a fire had devastated Lincoln National Forest in New Mexico. The cub was nursed back to health and named "Smokey" after the original poster bear. Great as a collectible, this lapel pin would make a wonderful gift or a nice one for starting a collection.
Features: Metal. 0.75 x 0.75 in.
