Minidoka National Historic Site, established in 2001 as Minidoka Internment National Monument, preserves just under 400 acres of the Minidoka Relocation Center. From 1942-1946, over 10,000 Japanese American citizens and legal residents of Japanese ancestry were interned at the Center, also known as Hunt Camp. The Center became Idaho's 7th largest city covering 33,000 acres with 600 structures and extensive agricultural fields. This magnet is great for collecting or commemorating your visit.
