The Todd Lake Trail is a popular hiking, fishing and picnicking area offering views of Broken Top. In 2017, more than 35 Todd Lake Trail Team volunteers came out to trim overhanging vegetation, remove fire rings, decommission trail sections, rebuild trail, and trim conifers within the Todd Lake Trail system. The trail team also began constructing a boardwalk to protect the wet meadows of the lake.
The team is hoping to purchase the necessary materials to build the remaining pieces of the boardwalk this year and your much needed support makes it all possible! Please help Discover Your Forest and the Todd Lake volunteer team achieve its goals with your donation. Your contribution is tax deductible. Thank you for your generous support!
The Todd Lake volunteer team was organized by the family of Carol L. Swift. Carol was an avid outdoors woman and amateur biologist who loved hiking, wildflowers, history, archaeology and the outdoors. In 2013 she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and passed away a short 17 months later. She loved Todd Lake and hiked there as often as she could. Her family organized this work in a place she dearly loved in her honor.
