This compact, handy guide provides information on recreational trail opportunities throughout the Mount St. Helens region including such areas as the Lewis River Valley and Dark Divide located outside of the congressionally designated National Volcanic Monument. The format is part of a new series of trail guides published by NWIA and one of a series of four guides available for the Forest. The guide details a variety of opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts and has information on more than 400 miles of hiking, mountain biking and horse riding trails. The book contains information and trail descriptions as well as overview maps of the areas of the Forest covered in this trail guide.
