This comprehensive, lightweight climbing guide is designed to be carried with you on your summit attempts and features the Ingraham Glacier-Disappointment Cleaver Route with 2 variations:

  • The Fuhrer Finger Route
  • The Kautz Glacier Route

  • Route descriptions are accurate and concise where there is no more piecing together USGS East and West Quadrangles. Each route is clearly shown with contours on a single waterproof and nearly indestructible sheet that you can fold down to 4 x 6 inches and carry in your pocket. Strategic, color aerial photographs give you a quick and clear understanding of your position. GPS grids are also included, so that you can easily set waypoints.

Currently, Mt. Rainier Maps and guides are created, published, and distributed by Stanley Maps and are being used by Mount Rainier National Park climbing rangers, the Park's Director of Communications, commercial guides, and as reference material for the Seattle Mountain Rescue organization. With detailed information on climbing tips and recommended equipment, the Mt. Rainier Climbing Guide maps by Stanley Maps are essential for anyone looking to scale Mount Rainier.

    Features: Waterproof and tear-resistant. Scale: 1:24,000. 8 x 12 in. folded. 32 x 48 in. unfolded.
