FYI, in addition to the previous reviewReviewer: C Strickland (Ellensburg, WA)

In WA & OR, this is not the only pass you'll need...in addition to what the previous review said about the private concession fees. There is a separate 'pass' for state park lands, another one for coastal byways, and of course, the one for the National Parks. To make this even more confusing, the state parks, natl forest & natl park land often blends from one to another, making this whole pass issue a real mess. If you are traveling here in the winter, you need yet another one to park at 'sno-parks', even though these are in the national forest, and technically, you would think the annual NW forest pass would apply. That said, I've only ever been asked for my pass at the Natl Parks, and I'm in the National Forest & at the coast all the time.

Beware of concessionaire fees in some placesReviewer: John Stark (Bellingham, WA)

We were not pleased to discover that some parking areas within the National Forests are operated by concessionaires who want to collect additional parking fees even if you have this pass. That was our experience last summer at Horseshoe Cove, Baker Lake, Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest.
